# Ma Earth Grantees

[Ma Earth](https://maearth.com/) is a partner platform connected to the same backend infrastructure as Bumicerts on GainForest.app.

This means Projects created on Ma Earth can also appear on GainForest.app, and Projects created through related funding rounds can use Bumicerts tools for impact reporting.

## How it connects to Bumicerts

Ma Earth and Bumicerts share backend infrastructure. This allows Project information to move across the connected ecosystem instead of being locked into one website.

For users, this means:

* Projects created on Ma Earth can also be visible on GainForest.app
* grantees from Ma Earth funding rounds can use GainForest.app for reporting
* Project evidence, updates, and impact information can be organized through Bumicerts workflows
* funders and supporters can review Projects through a familiar evidence-based Project format

## For grantees

If you are selected through a Ma Earth funding round, you are also open to use GainForest.app for data uploads and evidence linking as part of your impact reporting.

You can log in the same way you would on Ma Earth. The same login works across both platforms.

This can include:

* creating or updating a Project page
* adding Project updates
* uploading biodiversity observations or other evidence
* using supported upload flows such as observations, Tainá, batch uploads, or AudioMoth workflows
* linking uploaded evidence to your Project
* sharing reports, documents, photos, or external links

## For funders

For funders, the shared backend makes it easier to follow Projects beyond the application or funding round. Projects can continue to collect updates and evidence over time, supporting more transparent impact reporting.
