# Hackathons

### AI + Environment EcoHackathon in Switzerland

### Local Hackathons

We also support local hackathons that align with GainForest's mission. Last February 2025, we sponsored [Blue Hacks](https://www.facebook.com/BlueHacksAdMU) [2025](https://www.facebook.com/BlueHacksAdMU) - an annual hackathon organized by the Computer Society of the Ateneo in Ateneo De Manila University, Philippines. With the theme "Natural Disaster Response and Coordination: Connect, Respond, Recover," we discussed how our work with [Oceanus Conservation](https://www.oceanusconservation.org/) on blue carbon ecosystems could support disaster resilience.
